Following the carrier's recent triple-A350 delivery, the airline now has 55 frames in the fleet currently, with Qatar Airways having 53.

That being said, the lead the airline is holding will not be for long.

This is because Qatar Airways is still due to receive another 23 Airbus A350s, with Singapore only set to receive another 13.
Qatar Airways will at some point take the lead again, offering a fleet of 76 A350s by the time all frames are delivered, with Singapore Airlines offering 68, which is around eight short of taking that lead again.
The likes of Qatar Airways and Singapore Airlines have been focusing on streamlining their strategies towards fleet renewal, with the aim of operating aircraft such as the A350 and the Boeing 787.
The important question in this story is when will Qatar take that lead once again? And will we potentially see more triple-deliveries of aircraft heading out of the likes of Toulouse and Seattle?
