Passengers of British Airways #BA867 are being held and ‘checked over’ by emergency services

Passengers on a British Airways flight #BA867 from Budapest have been held and checked at Heathrow Airport following an incident on the plane.

The BA876 flight landed shortly after 7pm on Thursday runway 27R.

A spokesperson for Heathrow Airport said: “Passengers are being checked over by the ambulance service because of an incident on the plane.”

They also confirmed that police, ambulance and fire services are in attendance as is protocol with emergencies on flights.

Reports suggest the passengers are currently being ‘detained’ at Heathrow Gate 26 due to report of gas in the cabin.
